Dopo quasi 30 anni dall’ultimo concerto, il pianista Salvatore Bonafede, il bassista Dario Deidda e il batterista Mimmo Cafiero si riuniscono nel 2024 per riproporre il loro celebre trio degli anni ’90. Durante quel periodo, il gruppo ha partecipato a numerosi concerti e festivals in Italia, Slovenia, Svizzera e in Belgio, dove, tra l’altro, ha registrato e l’album “Live in Brussels”, distribuito in tutto il mondo dalla casa discografica “Splasc(h) Records”.
Il trio, attraverso l’uso di dinamiche, sfumature e variazioni ritmiche, riesce sempre a trasmettere grandi emozioni durante le interpretazioni estemporanee degli standards affrontati.
After almost 30 years since their last concert, pianist Salvatore Bonafede, bassist Dario Deidda, and drummer Mimmo Cafiero reunite in 2024 to recreate their famous trio from the 90s. During that period, the group participated in numerous concerts and festivals in Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Belgium, where recorded and released the album “Live in Brussels,” distributed worldwide by the record label “Splasc(h) Records.”
The trio consistently manages to convey great emotions during their spontaneous interpretations of the standards they tackle, using dynamics, nuances, and rhythmic variations.
